Broke within 1 minute of installing and I wasted all of that money on the part! I would recommend a completely different brand if something goes wrong!
My dryer had presumably the older setup that was superseded by the new part number. The old part has the plastic piece with a flange that connects to your flexible 4” duct. The new part has a longer metal tube running from the front of the dryer to the back and then through this plastic 429 piece, with your flexible duct now attaching directly to the end of the metal tube. Works fine.
The part fit perfectly. Arrived in a timely manner and was easy to find the part number.
Ordered part with no delivery issues, installed and it works:))) tks
