How to Replace a Splendide® Drain Pump
The drain pump is responsible for removing water from the drum during the drain cycle. When the pump becomes clogged or damaged, the washer may leave water in the drum or fail to complete cycles.
Replacing the drain pump is one of the most common repairs for **Splendide washer-dryer combos.
Tools You May Need
Before starting the repair, gather the following tools:
- Screwdrivers
- Towels or container for water
- Replacement drain pump
Step 1: Disconnect Power
Always disconnect power to the washer before performing any repairs.
This prevents electrical hazards during the repair process.
Step 2: Access the Pump
The pump is typically located behind the lower front access panel of the washer.
Remove the panel screws to expose the pump assembly.
Step 3: Remove the Old Pump
Disconnect the hoses and electrical connectors attached to the pump.
Remove the mounting screws and carefully remove the old pump.
Step 4: Install the New Pump
