3. Clean the Surfaces

Wipe the drum rim and front panel edge clean of residue or lint.

4. Install the New Door Seal (303520)

  1. Find the drain hole or alignment notch — this should face down at the 6 o’clock position.
  2. Fit the inner lip of the gasket around the drum rim, stretching it evenly all the way around.
  3. Secure the gasket with the rear clamp (092155) by tightening or locking the band.

5. Attach the Front Edge

  1. Pull the outer lip of the gasket forward and seat it over the front panel groove.
  2. Reinstall the front retaining ring (092156) — start at the top and work around, ending with the spring section at the bottom.
  3. Use a bit of mild soap or silicone spray to make it easier to stretch the gasket over the rim.

6. Final Check

  • Run your fingers around both edges to confirm the gasket sits flat and smooth.
  • Close the door and ensure even pressure.
  • Run a short rinse cycle (no laundry) and check for leaks.
